Having 42 subjects to clear from his three years, he get back home much to the embarrassment of his father who run a grocery shop for their living. ![]() The movie focuses on the lives of a carefree, irresponsible engineering student Umesh (Nivin Pauly), hailing from a distant village. Though the movie may not exactly be a great film, it manages to keep the viewers in good humour reminding their own 'selfies' and also sending valid messages on privacy and fake identities, across. Their latest offering ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’ is another one in this direction which perfectly sink with the sensibilities of the new generation of Kerala. Or at least that is what we surmise when we find thundering success of their films like ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ and ‘Malarvady Arts Club’. Vineeth Sreenivasan and company seems to be best in resonating the ethos and attitudes of the present generation.
